The Team Engagement and Development (TED) Tool is an evidence-based diagnostic, structured around the key features of highly-engaged and high-performing teams. The tool helps teams to identify their strengths and development areas, providing targeted and purposeful areas for improvement and supporting participants to identify how they can work to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Individual engagement, team engagement and team working are all aims of the TED Tool, with evidence showing that improving staff engagement leads to better outcomes for staff, patients and the orgqanisation.

The tool, which takes only five minutes for team members to complete, provides participants with the chance to share their views about working in the team and provides leaders with the resources, tools and guidance to have meaningful conversations and work towards development in partnership with the team.
