Our partnership with nefirst Credit Union allows staff to access straightforward and secure saving accounts as well as low-cost loans and the ability to have savings taken directly from your salary – all with free life insurance.

The Money Advice Service can offer you free and impartial advice, while PayPlan offers free debt advice and free debt management plans and StepChange is a dedicated debt advice service. Money Helper aims to help money and pension choices clearer.

MoneySavingExpert Academy of Money

The Academy of Money

The Open University joined forces with MoneySavingExpert to provide a free course aimed at giving you the skills and knowledge necessary to master your finances. The course itself is written by the Open University, with all who complete it receiving a statement of participation.

Packed with interactive learning resources like video, audio, quizzes and activities, the course covers all key aspects of personal finances across six sessions of study, each taking around 2 hours to complete.

Amongst the topics covered include budgeting, taxes, borrowing, saving, investing and pensions – helping you to gain knowledge in everything from your day-to-day finances to planning for your future.
