Booking Instructions

We have recently altered the way in which Mental Health First Aid courses are booked – both for the 1-day Line Manager Champions training session and the 2-day, open to all Mental Health First Aider course.

To book on to a course, log-in and visit ‘My ESR Portal’. This can be found by clicking your initials in the top right corner after logging in, and selecting the option from the drop-down menu.

Once on your portal, you’ll need to select ‘My Learning’ from the left hand navigation bar. Use the search function on the left and type ‘Mental Health First Aid’ for our 2-day course, or ‘Mental Health Champions’ for our 1-day course for line managers.

Click the cog button next to the the course in the results, and you’ll be able to see a full list of available dates and locations. To sign-up, click the cog again next to the date you’d like to join us on!

About the course

MHFA Champions Training for Line Managers looks to equip you with the skills and confidence to spot when someone in your team is struggling and know how and when to offer support.

Those who attend will:

• Boost their knowledge and confidence, allowing them to provide Mental Health First Aid for common mental health issues
• Enhance their understanding of how to help build a mentally healthy workplace, challenge stigma and support positive wellbeing
• Receive a workbook, reference manual and quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan – all of which can help you identify areas for improvement when it comes to promoting positive wellbeing
