Coaching is all about unlocking a person’s potential, helping them to maximise their own performance – and is about helping that person to learn rather than teaching them. Coaching provides a safe space for you to stop, think differently, consider alternate perspectives and really focus on what is most important to you.

A personal development tool that can enhance both individual and organisational effectiveness, coaching focuses on specific skills and goals, though it may also have an impact on an individual’s personal attributes such as their social interactions or confidence.

Amongst the key beliefs that underpin coaching is that we already have the answers we need within us. This makes a coach’s role to help the coachee in finding the answers through conversational techniques including questioning, active listening, observation and reflection.

All who participate in coaching will be asked to discuss and sign and agreement to coaching. Coaching provided through this route is provided by internal coaching practitioners, who are either qualified or in the process of gaining a minimum of a Level 5 in Coaching qualification.
