Colleagues are reminded that the North East and North Cumbria Staff Wellbeing Hub continues to offer free and confidential psychological and mental health support to #TeamGateshead colleagues.

The regional Hub continues to operate and looks to offer rapid support to colleagues across the region, which can be accessed through their self-referral form over on the Staff Wellbeing Hub website.

After you submit a self-referral for the Hub’s support offer, their team will contact you to arrange a confidential video or telephone conversation, followed by brief support or signposting.

One Staff Wellbeing Hub user said: “I didn’t know what to expect reaching out to the Staff Wellbeing Hub, but James was a very good listening ear, who allowed me to talk openly and explain my lengthy situation fully. He offered me really great advice and strategies on how to cope and help with my situation.

“I felt really positive, empowered and much calmer after my call with James, and I would absolutley recommend this service to all my colleagues.”

Last week, the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team launched a new Occupational Health referral form, and also updated our Counselling Referral Form, as covered in this month’s edition of Balance Monthly.

Free confidential support is just one of many offers available to colleagues through the NENC ICS Staff Wellbeing Hub – with interested colleagues also advised to consider finding out more about their free bespoke coaching/mentoring and free online self-compassion courses by emailing [email protected].
