Those who are considering a course to help support their educational and professional development can now apply for a Education Grant from Royal College of Nursing.

Applications are open until 31st May 2023, are open to all regardless of your RCN membership status and can be for up to £1600. Three grants are available, namely:

• The Professional Bursary Scheme, there for continuous professional development in adult nursing, children’s nursing, learning disability nursing and mental health nursing
• The Kershaw Grant, there for healthcare support workers
• The Olufunke Adyeye Education Grant, there for the professionaldevelopment of nurses, midwives and/or healthcare support workers from an ethnic minority background

Those who are interested in the grants and looking for support to complete the application process can lean on the RCN’s Helping Hand Scheme to be matched with a previous grant recipient. The recipient will then assis you in applying for an Education Grant.
