Gateshead Health will be marking our Annual Pink Day in support of Women’s Cancer Detection Society, the local organisation who have supported the Gateshead Health Breast Screening Unit for over 50 years this Thursday 26th October.

The Women’s Cancer Detection Society was founded in 1964 to help women in the North East and has led pioneering work in breast cancer screening as well as providing support through the provision of equipment and grants for research.

This Thursday, colleagues will find the charity in The Hub between 10:00am – 3:00pm, where they’ll be selling cupcakes and raffle tickets for their tombola as they look to continue raising funds. A card machine will even be available to help you pay if you don’t carry cash.

Please pop along and show your support for the event and the charity, who continue to provide fantastic support to ourselves here at #TeamGateshead.
