The organisaton’s Learning & Development team has released two new courses designed to improve the support offered to people managers within #TeamGateshead.

Both courses aim to upskill managers when it comes to the topics of effective management conversations and developing effectives teams. For more information on both sessions, please see below.

Effective Management Conversations:

Designed to help you develop your skills and confident in holding effective management conversations, this practical one-day course explores the various conversations you are required to have as a manager – including giving and receiving feedback, having courageous and coaching style conversations and carrying out health and wellbeing check-ins. Effective Management Conversations:

This half-day practical session provides you with the opportunity to reflect on what makes a team effective. During the session, you’ll explore both the life-cycle of a team and the importance of teaming, while you’ll also be provided with the time to develop an action plan to help enhance the effectiveness of your team.
