A new regular learning and development offer available to all will provide colleagues with the opportunity to learn more about mental health in the workplace.

Those who attend the session will benefit from a better understanding of the importance of supporting colleagues and their mental health in the workplace; better recognise signs of poor mental health in others; learn more about the importance of impactful conversations around mental health; unearth new sources of help and support and improve when it comes to supporting colleagues with mental health challenges.

The session is suitable for all but may be of particular use to leaders and managers, health and wellbeing ambassadors and those who regularly support colleagues.

In June, we also launched a new Health & Wellbeing Awareness session, aimed at helping you get a foundation level understanding of all of the support available to them as a #TeamGateshead colleague.

Lasting 90 minutes, the session will take place in the Listening Space at the QE Hospital bi-monthly and can be booked via either ESR or the new Trust prospectus. The first confirmed dates for upcoming sessions are Monday 11th September & Tuesday 14th November – we hope to see you there!
