The Occupational Health and Wellbeing team were recently contacted by a researcher from Northumbria University with a query as to whether our workforce might be able to help them as part of their work in attempting to help improve the provision of Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training.

The project is exploring MECC’s ‘Train the Trainer’ model, and more specifically aims to learn more about the reasons that those who attend this training don’t always go on to provide this training to frontline staff. By investigating the reasons, it is hoped that the research team can help facilitate increased cascading of training.

Northumbria University are therefore looking for staff or volunteers for interviews who would be eligible to receive Making Every Contact Count’s Train the Trainer training session – and have either not attended or completed this previously.

Those interested in participating can either email Bethany directly on [email protected] or complete their EOI form.
