As you can see above, booking a place on our new Health & Wellbeing Awareness training is as easy as 1, 2, 3! With monthly sessions available to all staff, we hope to see you at a session soon.
The session aims to provide participants with a foundation level knowledge and understanding of our entire health and wellbeing offer here at Gateshead – ensuring you’re aware of the support, events, groups, information, resources, activities and otherwise that are there to support you and your colleagues.
Originally designed for managers in the intention of helping them to become more effective signposters and more supportive managers, we refined the session before launching to ensure that it is suitable for all – while retaining what we needed to ensure that the session could help you feel more comfortable in signposting your colleagues to suitable support too.
Health & Wellbeing Awareness sessions are currently scheduled to take place monthly in the Listening Space, and last around one hour. All health and wellbeing ambassadors will soon be asked to complete the training, while we’re also open to holding dedicated sessions for teams.
