Our newest guide is aimed at providing both line managers and colleagues with ADHD with practical ideas as to changes that could be made to support those with ADHD in the workplace.
The guide, which can now be downloaded at any time via our Manager Guides and Neurodiversity webpages, aims to aid understanding by outlining some of the common strengths of those with ADHD.
It is also there to be used as inspiration for both line managers and colleagues with ADHD, by providing a list of effective, common and practical reasonable adjustments that can be made in the workplace. Within, readers will find examples of reasonable adjustments which can help those with ADHD to fulfil their potential across areas like communication and feedback, changes to the working environment, use of technology and more.
Over the course of 2026, we are looking to expand the support available to neurodivergent colleagues and recently submitted an application for funding to deliver a project specifically in this area, which we anticipate hearing the outcome of in March or April.
In the meantime, further support for neurodivergent colleagues can be found on our dedicated neurodiversity webpage – where we feature useful tools such as health passports and support networks such as our D-Ability Staff Network. You can also find a wealth of neurodiversity resources, including training sessions and more, over on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion intranet area.
