If U Care Share are holding a further two Suicide Prevention workshops for healthcare staff, open free of charge to #TeamGateshead staff.

Taking place online between 1:00pm – 4:00pm on Thursday 25th July and between 09:30am – 4:30pm at the Angel View Inn (Gateshead) on Thursday 19th September, both sessions are now available to book by clicking the relevant link. 

These sessions focus on the delivery of the charity’s health service-focused STOP training, exploring the support needed for those bereaved by suicide and how this can be accessed.

By participating, those who attend will have an increased knowledge around suicides, signs that someone may be suicidal, how to intervene if someone is suicidal, how best to support those who are bereaved by suicide and improve their confidence when it comes to intervening and feeling able to support colleagues who may be at risk or who are bereaved by suicide.
