Leading Forward is the title given to Gateshead Health’s leadership and management development framework, and follows on from the popular and successful Managing and Leading Well programmes.

Leading Forward builds on these programmes, helping to develop managers and leaders that are aligned to the organisation’s preferred leadership methodology and principles while providing you with the ability to build a bespoke programme, tailored to your development needs/

The aim of our Leading Forward framework is to:

  1. Develop effective leaders and managers who are able and accountable for the delivery of the strategic aims and values of the group
  2. Develop leaders and managers who role model the values of the Group, creating a compassionate, inclusive and safe environment for staff and patients

The opportunity to join Leading Forward is available to all leaders and managers within the Trust and QEF, regardless of your experience, banding or whether you’re clinical or non-clinical. The framework introduces a bespoke approach, helping you build your confidence and skills based on your individual needs.
