“I contributed to the Balance Cookbook hoping to share a quick salad and snack recipes. This could be used as either a snack, to pack in kids lunchbox, or even to satisfy those sweet cravings. too.

“This is a super simple recipe. You could have this as a midday snack, an after-meal dessert or simply feel free to have it as you wish. These are low in sugar and you don’t need to bake them. The recipe is naturally sweetened with dates. I have got the inspiration of this recipe from “Minimalist Baker” and I have altered it to suit our taste – the addition of chocolate is optional.”
