As we continue the #GHMoneyMatters campaign, we’re delighted to today launch a new Budgeting page, bringing together useful resources and tools to help you spend more efficiently, save and meet your financial goals.

More than half of UK adults say they do not have a budget with a similar percentage of those who do admitting that they do not stick to their budget. A lack of planning and financial discipline can cause overspend, stress and debt. This makes effective budgeting vital in managing your finances effectively; regardless of income or financial goals.

On our Budgeting page you can find a number of apps and financial management tools which can help you to budget more effectively.

The launch of the page comes at a good time, after we confirmed a number of #GHMoneyMatters sessions in association with Citizens Advice Gateshead yesterday that are set to take place over the coming months – including one on budgeting.

Savvy Budgeting to Make Ends Meet:

This session will help you to get more clued up on budgets, provide info on how to shop smarter, advise on how you might be able to top up your income and signpost you to sources of support.
