A new support group led by the NENC ICS Staff Wellbeing Hub aims to offer a community of support for those who live with a family member who has neurodiverse needs.

If you live with someone who has neurodiverse needs and feel you’d benefit from the opportunity to chat with people in similar situations or often feel better after offloading and discussing challenges – or simply enjoy learning from others, this group might be for you.

The group will be limited to a maximum size of ten participants, and its membership will remain the same across all six sessions. Facilitated by the Wellbeing Hub’s pyschotherapists, the group will meet weekly starting from Tuesday 7th March and lasting until Tuesday 11th April, with sessions taking place between 1:30pm – 3:00pm (inclusive of a short break). All sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams.

If you’re interested in joining the group, please contact the Hub via email on [email protected] or call 0191 223 2030. You’ll then be offered a short chat with the facilitators who’ll take you through what to expect.
