Due to unforeseen circumstances, the launch of our brand new Listening Space, found just outside the Jubilee Wing (at the far end of the Peter Smith Surgery Centre car park), has been delayed.

With work ongoing outside the facility, the decision has been made to wait until access is improved to ensure all visitors can see our newest addition at its best on launch day.

The listening space will be a health and wellbeing area, offering all colleagues a dedicated space to decompress. The space will also host relevant events and activities, and provide you with an area to share problems and chat to a listening ear.

It is hoped that we’ll still be able to welcome representatives from Citizens Advice Gateshead, the NENC ICS Staff Wellbeing Hub team and Gateshead College on launch day – as well as Mr Jazza who we’re looking to book again to provide free ice creams to all visitors.
