Free Gentle Yoga is available to attend in Gateshead every Thursday between 1:30pm – 2:30pm.

Taking place at Gateshead Older Persons Association (Deckham – NE8 3UB), classes provide a gentle exercise that is suitable for all as no floor work is required.

By practicing yoga, you could lower your blood pressure, strengthen bones and joints, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and decrease inflammation by lowering your stress levels. Free refreshments are also available and there’ll also be a chance to chat and socialise after the class.
