Recently, Trust colleague Katy Maughan organised an NHS-only weekly dance fitness class with DanceFuse.

While these sessions have now stopped, Katy has kindly passed on an offer from DanceFuse for all #TeamGateshead colleagues – inviting you to attend a class of your choice completely free of charge, and benefit from a 33% discount at any class thereafter!

DanceFuse’s community classes take place nearly every weekday, and all classes are designed to be easy to follow as well as suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making them perfect for anyone looking to get active.

To access a free session, you need only turn up to a session at The Thomas Wilson Club (Low Fell), where you’ll be able to enjoy your first class free.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 
    10:00am – GetLow (the programme DanceFuse were previously doing with us)
    6:00pm – Pound (cardio fitness class using lightly weighted Ripstix to bash your Monday stresses away)
  • Tuesday:
    7:00pm – The Jungle Body (if you enjoyed GetLow, you will LOVE this class!!)
  • Wednesday:
    10:00am Zumba Gold (lower intensity version of the original Zumba programme)
    6:00pm HIITSTEP (30 minute HIIT class using only your body weight and a step. Short and sweet!)
    7:00pm Zumba (Dance fitness class combining international rhythms and dance styles)
  • Friday:
    10:00am – GetLow (as above)

After you’ve been to your first class, you’ll be able to book future classes via the Gymcatch App. Just search Dancefuse, then click on the calendar, select the class you would like to attend, click book and then there is a little box at the bottom to input your discount code (use code: KATYMARCH) to get all your classes throughout March for £3.
