Following on from feedback from colleagues, we wanted to make it as easy as possible to understand the meeting spaces that are available to our people to have a private confidential across our sites.

To help with this, we’ve just published a new page – Meeting Spaces – where you’ll find a list of appropriate meeting rooms & areas across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Bensham Hospital. Included amongst the list are bookable rooms, with links to book and check availability, as well as non-bookable areas which might still be appropriate for a conversation outside of the immediate working area.

We’re also using our newest webpage as an opportunity to promote some of the listening support avenues available to our people – such as our Mental Health First Aiders, Mental Health Defusers, Professional Nursing & Midwifery Advocates and more. Elsewhere, tools to help steer conversations – such as those for health and wellbeing conversations, discussions about stress, mental health and more are all featured.

If you’re looking for somewhere to have a chat with a manager – or otherwise – just remember to check our new Meeting Spaces page, which can be found quickly through the top navigation bar by highlighting ‘Environmental Wellbeing’.
