A room is available for all breastfeeding staff to use on-site to express and store milk, and is available 24 hours per day.

NOTE: A temporary expressing room is currently in operation while works are ongoing in the Doctors Residence. This can be located within the vacant former Colposcopy department, opposite Physiotherapy in the Windy Nook corridor. For access codes, please contact switchboard or email [email protected].

The expressing room is usually located in Room 10 of the doctors’ residence – found on the second floor when entering from Windy Nook Entrance C (Purple Zone). It is identified by a sign on the door with ‘Mothers expressing room’ on it. Within the room there is a fridge, bed, sink and a telephone. There is also a vacant/engaged sign on the door.

Please note that two codes are required to access the room (one for the corridor and for the room itself), and can be obtained from switchboard.
