We all know the benefit reading brings, from reducing feelings of anxiety, stress & pressure and helping to get a better night’s sleep.

If you can’t find what you need at the Staff Library, check out some of the latest titles at Gateshead Libraries. Their collections include a huge range of printed books, also available in large print and CD audio, along with self-help guides for people living with specific conditions and disorders.

Borrowbox

Borrowbox gives 24-hour access to a growing range of e-books, e-audio books and e-magazines. It’s free to join and allows you to:

• Borrow up to 15 eMagazines free of charge for 3 weeks
• Avoid fines as items are returned automatically at the end of your loan period
• Access back copies of your favourite magazine titles
