Later this week (Thursday 4th August) will be the 10th installment of the annual Cycle to Work Day, encouraging commuters to make the switch to cycle to work and enjoy benefits including being more active, reducing stress, saving money on commuting costs and helping the environment.

Like every year, a host of prizes are up for grabs for those who cycle to work on 4th August, with everyone who joins the Love To Ride community and logging their ride in with a chance of bagging vouchers, a new bicycle, a security bundle, a Fitbit and much more! To view the full list and find out how to register, just visit the entry page.

Cycle to Work Day is also a fantatsic opportunity to promote the two Cycle to Work Schemes that are available to our colleagues.

Cyclescheme:

Cyclescheme helps you to spread the cost of a bicycle purchase via monthly salary deductions, and can help you save between 26-40% on the cost of new bike and kit.

Green Commute Initiative:

If you’re looking for a bike over £1,000 then the Green Commute Initiative is the cycle to work scheme for you – especially for those looking at electric bikes which tend to cost a lot more.

GCI’s pioneering scheme was the first to have no £1,000 limit, allowing employers to set their own scheme limits and again, colleagues can benefit from savings via salary deductions. For more information, please click to download an info guide.
