Supermarket Asda has reintroduced its offer of 10% off for all Blue Light Card holders.
As part of the offer, the supermarket is also waiving the 12-week qualifying period for new employees to begin receiving staff discounts – meaning you can begin to take advantage of discounts as soon as you get your Blue Ligh Card.
Asda’s decision to reintroduce the discount came after it was revealed that inflation had hit 9% – showing a commitment to supporting NHS staff alongside other key workers.
Food and soft drinks, George clothing and homeware, toys, gifts and optical are all included in the offer, although alcohol will not be eligible for discounted rates.
To receive a discount, card holders should simply present their card at checkout. Those who do not already have a card can obtain one through the Blue Light Card website, Cards cost £4.99 and last two years.
