The NENC ICS Staff Wellbeing Hub will run another 7-week mindfulness-based cognitive therapy group programme open to Health and social care staff, starting Wednesday 12th April and ending Wednesday 31st May.
The mindfulness-based programme, which will take place over Microsoft Teams weekly between 1:00pm – 3:30pm, will incorporate:
- Mindfulness training to support the development of awareness and pacing to learn to override automatic habits of overriding exhaustion and discomfort and, as a consequence, to learn how to be with and reduce the tension and anxiety that a life-long condition or long-covid can bring
- An exploration of how to integrate recommended physical exercises and activities into your routine
- Support from others with similar experiences and challenges in a safe group space
