Throughout May 2025, Gateshead Health held a Step Count Challenge to mark National Walking Month.
We can now finally reveal the winners of our 2025 Step Count Challenge. This year, 258 colleagues took part from across 57 teams, racking up a mammoth 97,338,352 steps between them – meaning each participant averaged more than 375,000 steps during the month.
A big thanks and well done goes to every single person who stepped up during May, enjoying the benefits of being more active and pulling together in their teams to post their score!
